Set off on an unforgettable adventure to discover the Colli Bolognesi.

Cycling on one of our e-bikes – guided by one of our expert guides – you’ll reach enchanting spots and sample fine wines at two local wineries.

A simple and sustainable way to admire breathtaking views, visit wineries and discover the secrets of wine production. A unique experience for lovers of wine and nature, perfect for unwinding and recharging your batteries.

First stop: Montevecchio Isolani estate. A mid-16th-century mansion perched atop a hill, offering a breathtaking view of Bologna and the surrounding hills. Welcomed by your guide, you’ll begin the guided walking tour by descending into the ancient cellar hewn from the rock in the 1500s and breathe in the aroma of the earth in the ageing room, where the red wines reach perfection. In the more modern area, you will see the autoclaves and steel vats used in today’s wine production, and you will arrive in the cosy tasting room, where you can sample three delicious wines accompanied by a selection of local cold cuts and cheeses.

The final stop on this journey through nature, tradition and culinary delights will be Cantina Terre Rosse Vallania, an iconic winery in the hills of Bologna, founded in 1964 and situated in Zola Predosa, now revived and revitalised by young Bolognese winemakers. From here, you can admire the Bologna skyline and discover the places where tradition and innovation come together.

You will visit the sparkling wine ageing room where our ‘zero dosage’ classic method comes to life, followed by the winemaking cellar and the barrel room. At each point of interest, a small refreshment station will await you where you can taste the wines, paired with gastronomic delicacies specially designed to enhance their aromas and flavours.
