This route is suitable for all and accessible by people with motor and cognitive-sensory disabilities, aboard handcycles, tandem mountain bikes, and e-hancycles to sustainably enjoy the outdoors. It’s the first of four accessible hiking/biking routes with a focus on culture, food and wine along the Sillaro Valley.
The trail is part of the Outdoor Trail: Sustainable and Experiential Travel project. The goal in 2022 is to create inclusive, safe tourism options that are experiential and innovative. The towns where the project will take place are: Castel San Pietro Terme, as the “lead” town, the Comune di Medicina, Dozza, Castel Guelfo di Bologna, Ozzano dell’Emilia and Casalfiumanese
